这个小商贩在发卖一种专门用来按捺口渴的小药丸，每周吞服一丸就不会感受口渴。
“你好。”小商贩说道。
"Good morning," said the merchant.
小王子自言自语地说：“我如果有五十三分钟可安排，我就落拓地向水泉走去……”
"Because they save a tremendous amount of time," said the merchant. "Computations have been made by experts. With these pills, you save fifty-three minutes in every week.""And what do I do with those fifty-three minutes""Anything you like..."
This was a merchant who sold pills that had been invented to quench thirst. You need only swallow one pill a week, and you would feel no need of anything to drink.
“你好。”小王子说。
“随便如何用都行。”
"As for me," said the little prince to himself, "if I had fifty-three minutes to spend as I liked, I should walk at my leisure toward a spring of fresh water."
"Why are you selling those" asked the little prince.
“你为甚么卖这玩意儿？”小王子说。
“因为这能够大大地节俭时候。”小商贩说，“专家们计算过，用这些药丸，每周能够节俭五十三分钟。”
